Borealis Dominates Austrian Patents, Leading the 2024 Index

- In 2024, Borealis filed 121 new priority patent applications.

In recent years the majority of patent application filings has been in the following areas:
- Energy (including Borlink, Borealis’ innovative high voltage cable jacketing technology)
- Production processes (Borstar process)
- Consumer products for flexible and rigid packaging
- Circular economy solutions (Borcycle technology).
